I spent my first weekend on the east coast, exept that one weekend I went to Philadelphia to check out Bryn Mawr for 2 days back when I thought I might live in a castle.. Cough. Didn't happen :/
But! New York ended up being amazing (albeit a little cold). I was a little apprehensive about exploring the city by myself, but it was sort of liberating having to figure things out by myself and strolling through the streets of this vast city. It was also great hanging out with Gramps and some of my architecture friends - Jordan & Anna!

We got the chance of spending the holidays in Tahoe with a lot of old and new friends. It was great playing and skiing in the snow, but it was also freezing! It got as cold as 4 F. I actually got a bunch of bloody noses... I walked around a lot with tissue stuffed in my nose :'(
The first morning, Michelle, Sidian and I woke up at the crack of dawn (well 6 AM to be exact but it really did feel too early..) and drove over to Zephyr Cove to explore. What we found was amazing! The water was a deep blue and the texture was velvety. We stayed for about 30 minutes before it got too cold and we went back to eat some yummy breakfast, hehe! We eventually came back with a bigger group to explore the surrounding rocks.

This weekend, a group of friends and I roughed it out in the most amazing camp site in Big Sur. Please note that it has no water, no restrooms, no reservations, nothing . But if you can handle that, then you're in for a treat: Prewitt Ridge.
