Travel: Adventures in Zion
Zion has been on my bucket list since I first saw images of the Narrows a couple years back...A couple weekends ago, I finally had the chance to go! IT WAS AMAZIIIIIIING. We simply CANNOT resist going back up to our sky high campsite in Big Sur :) Mostly because we can't get our shit together to make reservations ahead of time.. hahaha JK! I think its mostly because we like having a whole area to ourselves..and with 12-16 people on a trip, it helps a lot!
Overall, we had an amazing trip. The weather was perfect (slightly warm in the day, cool and not windy at night). Might even be the best one yet, although we're lacking some key people in our squad (Shoutout to Azad, Kevin, Masa, and Matt!!). It's crazy how people can make such a big difference in camp vibes, this trip was full of laughter ^_^

I spent my first weekend on the east coast, exept that one weekend I went to Philadelphia to check out Bryn Mawr for 2 days back when I thought I might live in a castle.. Cough. Didn't happen :/
But! New York ended up being amazing (albeit a little cold). I was a little apprehensive about exploring the city by myself, but it was sort of liberating having to figure things out by myself and strolling through the streets of this vast city. It was also great hanging out with Gramps and some of my architecture friends - Jordan & Anna!
