Writings by Brandon Podmayersky that accurately captured my feelings about this trip: Having just returned from the wedding of the illustrious Mr. Kunal Poddar in Jaipur, I wanted to take a few moments to reflect on my (admittedly very short and mostly holed up in a posh resort) first trip to India.

Engagement: F & X, Marin Headlands
Oh! My! Lord! You guys! My twin sister is getting married!! Wow - it makes me feel so old. BUT I am so happy that I was able to photograph their engagement session. It really is wonderful being able to tap into a couple's most intimate moments. I feel like I've learned so much about them both during our session than their ENTIRE relationship!
Here are some of my favorites :)

A bit far from the Bay Area, about 3 hours east, you feel like you are in the back country of NorCal.
Make sure you follow the hosts instructions and you will make it to the site quite easily.
Erin was a great host, making sure that we had everything that we needed. The place is well stocked with the best snacks and there are tons of buds for you try if you are 420 friendly. The cabin is so cute and cozy and you will feel right at home. The tub is a staple and must try, especially after all the time you spent trying to get out here. There is a bottle of lavender essential oil and a scoops of salt to relax you to the fullest. Once you are all soaked, you get to relax on the comfy bed for a great night sleep.
Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommend getting here early to make sure you have enough time to explore the lake nearby and take advantage of all the amenities at this location!!

Camping around the Bay Area is always a challenge, with so many outdoor aficionados it is hard to find a place that is not overly explored. Camp Mesa was the antithesis of that.
Because it is at least an hour and a half away, it is a trek to get out here. Given that, it is definitely worth it. Camp Mesa has so many options in terms of how you want to camp. If you like a bit more of a view, there is a trail to a campsite that has that. If you want more of a river site, you can find one near the river that passes through the property. If you want a bit of a nestled spot with an abundance of shade, you can stay in the Tipi site.
